Not to be confused with the popular Chuck’s Roadhouse franchise, we are pleased to announce the newest restaurant launch in Downtown Milton:

Chuck’s Road House

In a surprise announcement, Chuck and Melissa Charlton have chosen to expand their business enterprise by partnering with UFC mega-star Conor McGregor to bring a new flavour to Main Street this summer.  This new venture arrives on the heels of his successful movie remake of the classic “Road House” franchise.

The new local watering hole will feature a special dessert called the “Big White Mint” and a special hot sauce called “Pain Don’t Hurt“, made from locally grown peppers found ONLY at the base of the Niagara Escarpment.

As part of the deal, Conor has also agreed to bring a UFC event to the Mattamy National Cycling Centre (also known as the Velodrome), on a date yet to be determined in 2025.

Ward 1 Town Councillor Kristina Tesser-Derksen applauded both moves, but was most excited by the new downtown restaurant.

“After the unfortunate closing of Bryden’s, we were really hoping we could find another business that could draw a crowd downtown.  We couldn’t be more pleased with this new partnership between Mr. McGregor and the Charltons.”

Regional Councillor Colin Best voiced concerns over increased local traffic, but assured everyone that he would “handle it”.

Chuck Charlton is the co-owner and the face of the new establishment.  “I watch a lot of Bar Rescue.  Jon Taffer taught me a lot about the bar business.  I think we’ll do a great job.  After 20 years in the real estate industry… there’s not much we can’t handle.”

Co-owner Melissa Charlton added, “We love Milton, and we love creating five-star experiences… whether it’s with real estate, or with a great cocktail.”
